The Unchosen Company (The Resonance Cycle Book 1)

If you know the problem, hire a specialist. If nobody knows what the problem is, send the Unchosen Company: an orc geologist, an elf engineer, a dwarf historian, a negotiator, a medic, and a pig. Warm, funny, procedural fantasy about people the Guild filed in the wrong drawer, and the ancient structures only they seem to hear.
