The Black Heart of the Station (The Black Heart Series Book 1)

Teenager Josh Driscoll lives in the Station, a city constructed a kilometer beneath the surface of a frozen, lifeless earth, its origins lost in the mists of time. Decrypting an ancient journal, Josh learns that a complex sealed off after an asteroid strike may hold the key to the city's past, and may be all that can save them from annihilation.
