Widow Walk

It is 1857 in the American Pacific Northwest. Tensions between local indigenous tribes and pioneer settlers grow. The U.S. territorial governor calls for a "war of extermination" against natives, while the British and U.S. Armies prepare for war. On Whidbey Island, Boston-bred Emmy Evers carves out a life for her family while husband Isaac is away. Meanwhile, Haida native Anah-nawitka, aka "The Black Wind," feels the rush of delivering vengeance to encroaching white colonists and embarks on a predatory raid. The frontier's tenuous peace will soon break and test the will of one exceptional woman.
