For 16 year old Lily, life’s about bitchy best friends, marvellous Matt (who blows so hot and cold with her he might as well be a hairdryer, and the – admittedly, often ridiculously funny – antics of some of her crazier friends at school. Until her mother starts internet dating, that is… Then it gets much, much worse! To try and fend off the two candidates for replacement daddy, Lily plans on having some fun at their expense whilst ruining their chances of romance. For a while it works, but she gets more than she bargains for when one of the men turns out not to be as pathetic as he seems. And in fact, whilst Lily's mother is being romanced and Lily’s detective father is looking for a murderer, Lily realises she's already found him….
