A writer, Jake Randall, leaves Ridge Falls, Idaho and settles on the Oregon coast, attempting to leave the small town and the evil that seems to inhabit it behind. But it won't be that easy. Sometimes evil follows you, and sometimes stories have a way of writing themselves that can’t be messed with. No matter what. The story he’s writing now may be his best ever. But it also might be his last.
