Two Thousand Leagues as the Seabird

At the close of the Long War, mercenary-turned-storyteller Khatan is asked to sing his life. Exiled as a fratricide, the young wanderer is swept up into the current of the conflict, clinging to his warleader Oman and the glory of his company, the Golden Quiver. But each victory comes at a greater cost; and, as the War escalates to its apocalyptic climax, Khatan is forced to choose between these blood-forged bonds of friendship and his own burgeoning conscience.
