Meet Starr Chulain, a ten-year-old with striking violet eyes and a mission too heavy for her slender shoulders. Starr is destined to liberate the Ny’Zeri—mysterious energy beings who power the galaxy’s interstellar Portals. Hundreds of planets will die if she cannot lead the displaced Ny'Zeri back to their home galaxy. An attack forces Starr and her family and friends to flee off-planet. Starr must piece together her destiny, balancing the need to free captured friends left behind with her greater mission to free the Ny’Zeri and save millions, even billions, of lives on hundreds of planets.
