The Carnival Keepers

It's 1879, and Halloween is going to be different this year. As fog rolls in thick with a tint of magic and the distant wails of the damned, the streets of London are overrun by monsters, mischief, thieves, and villainous sea creatures. In the thick of it all, James is trying to win a bet, which includes purchasing a light house, hosting a séance, and spending the night with his father's prize-winning stallion in a notoriously haunted attic. But the day is set in motion by unusual events, and James is thrown unwittingly into the emerging chaos.
