The Awakening

A dormant power awakens in a small town by capturing selected residents for its own purposes.  An outcast warrior awakens to find the stories that led to his exile were true, and the power is growing.  An unwilling victim awakens to a new life, but desires nothing more than to return to the one he had before.  An ancient order awakens and discovers it has the strength to hold back the tide of destructive forces that threatens everything they value.  After centuries of peace and solitude, the Fempiror are awakening.
