Rene’

Rene' left his home in France and traveled across the ocean in search of a better life. Two years after his arrival, he would fine himself in the middle of an ambush by the Iroquois Nation. He would be beaten and tortured before finally being adopted into the tribe. It would take almost two years for him to make his escape and travel back home to Montreal. Never again would he trust the Iroquois, a decision that would eventually save not just himself, but the large family he would raise in the developing lands of New France.
