Nocturnal Meetings of the Misplaced

Fifteen-year-old Tommy Walker grew up quickly caring for his drug-addicted mother and little sister. Social service intervenes, and he and his sister are sent to live in the country with relatives they’ve never met. When he is invited out by his new neighbor, things don’t seem that bad. Their late-night meetings in the woods become the place he finally belongs. When he begins to unravel clues to a cold case murder and kidnapping they discover the truth is closer than he ever imagined. Even if he lives to tell, will anyone believe them?
