Midnight Tales

Maia had always dreamed of owning a dragon. When her father takes her on a journey to the exotic city of Rathaés, she gets the opportunity to spend some time with a Forest Dragon, cementing her desire to own one.  On their journey home, however, Maia is stricken by a mysterious illness, bringing with it irritation and uncontrollable anger. She abandons her father’s caravan and runs off into the desert during the night.  Starved, dehydrated, and near death, she finally finds herself in the shadow of a great beast. Will she be strong enough to communicate with it before it decides to eat her?
