Left with no choice, the soul can only abandon the armor, and let it turn into dust. That armor is your body, but the battle isn't lost yet. There's still time to recover, to repair it, and to make it, once again, a fit armor for your true self: your immortal soul. Diseases and the rapid aging they cause don't have to lead you into a premature death. You can stop them.
