Haunting Memories from a Troubled Past

A shot rings out. A woman gasps her last breath. Then two men are heard arguing in her backyard. Hera Hunter is a gutsy PI determined to impose justice on those who get away with brutal crimes. She vows to find the woman’s killer. With leads provided by friends living on the fringes of society, she’s dragged into the corrupt workings of the mayor’s office, the city’s business community, and her estranged uncle’s financial affairs.
