March, 2019 and the C.I.A. has just confirmed to the president that the rogue North Korean regime of Kim Jong-un has successfully fired one of its newly developed long-range intercontinental ballistic missiles a distance of over 7,000 miles. The entire United States is now within striking distance. Two years into their administration and following a series of mid-term election defeats, President Trump and his national security team must now decide upon a course of action to deal with the threat. They have several options, both diplomatic and military, but little time, and only the president can make the final decision.
