English teachers Andrew and Tavie Morgan move to Shunde, China looking for a fresh start only to find themselves embroiled in paranoia and horror. Tavie is convinced an intruder is breaking into their flat in the dark of night. As they begin to investigate, they become entangled in a spider’s web of perception-altering conspiracies as someone or something in the darkness closes in.
