Would you survive the zombie apocalypse, if you were the last person left alive?  Kind, decent book cover designer Amo wakes up in a New York that has transformed - the dead throng in its streets, and he's the only one left to eat. He doesn't have a hope to fight them off, doesn't have a hope to escape, and generally doesn't have much hope at all.  But he's got an inner resilience, the same resilience that let him survive a coma that left him mentally crippled for a year.
