Two women, born two-hundred years apart share a tragic destiny as they become vampires, English country girl, Gailene, to build a powerful vampire family in fledgling America, and her great-granddaughter, college coed, Zondra, who must lead the dynasty into the twenty-first century. Gailene’s former lover, Jeremiah, must train Zondra, this singular neophyte vampire, who’s been turned though never bitten.
