Certainty is the enemy of knowledge. At night a controversial biologist dreams of ancient Rome and visiting the Great Library of Alexandria, where he falls in love with a mystical priestess. During the day he fights against mainstream science and religion in his search for dark energy. Travel into the future and the past, from Prague in 2020 to the Great Library of Alexandria in 48BC, with ancient scrolls and dark energy sensors, through majestic temples and torch-lit torture chambers. Follow two heroes through their loves, losses, triumphs and tragedies as they work for the betterment of humanity.
