When she was a child, Layla's father left behind a book of Japanese legends. She's always felt a powerful connection to one legend in particular. The legend says if you fold 1,000 paper cranes, your wish will be granted.Then Layla meets Sam online, and she believes she's finally found someone worth folding 1,000 cranes for. Layla jumps at the opportunity to travel to London to meet Sam, and she brings 1,000 paper cranes with her.However, wishes aren't always granted the way we hope. Layla's trip to London ends in disaster, but she finds herself drawn to a mysterious stranger named Cal. Just before he leaves on a whirlwind tour of Europe, Layla asks to accompany him, and he accepts.The pair travel throughout Europe, meeting interesting people, and travelling to beautiful destinations.
