Bad Seed

When slick Midwest councilman Daniel Sullivan sets foot in Heaven, the obvious occurs to him: Something has gone acutely wrong. Given an eternal home between his tragically lost love and a country singer named Johnny, Daniel can hardly believe his good fortune. That doubt quickly builds to suspicion and dread, as bad omens begin to follow him everywhere he goes. When Daniel's former campaign manager shows up reeking of brimstone, he brings an awful truth with him: Daniel was never meant for Paradise.
