A mix of serious and humorous stories from the author's time living on a farm in Europe. Tells of the funny, interesting, and sometimes scary things animals do which echoes what goes on in the human world. Includes stories about the author's relationship to her husband and mother-in-law. Also lightly includes some discussion of God and Satan and their influence on both people and animals.
