The fun mystery incorporates a soupçon of horror and romance. Anthropology professor Dr. Olivia West is teaching class when a shot rings out. Drawn into the hunt for the shooter, Olivia joins forces with Steven Lewis, a police detective whose wife was brutally murdered. Brains are taxed, not eaten, as their search leads the duo to Heaven’s Bottom, an isolated Kentucky community cut off by the Ohio River and mountainous terrain. As a child, Olivia witnessed a horrifying ceremony in Heaven’s Bottom with her best friend…was it a sacrifice surrounded by zombies or was there a logical explanation?
